Pre-selection to represent Belgium at the Eurovision Young Musicians
The preliminary selections to represent Belgium at the Eurovision Young Musicians competition have taken place. At the end of this stage, Ygor was selected.
The next step will be a live performance on January 26th on the Flagey stage.

On this occasion, he will perform a work by the American composer Nathan Daughtrey: Concerto for Vibraphone and Wind Ensemble, 1st movement (piano version), accompanied on the piano by Astrid Denis.
​
This project benefits from the support of her teacher Jessica Ryckewaert (Royal Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy), as well as Adams Music, which provides her with a professional vibraphone. The piece was also further developed during a musical workshop with the Nivelles Musical Corps, under the direction of Nathalie Muspratt.

The video recording was done by Lèna Noiset, while the sound recording was done by Philippe Vandendriessche, in the large concert hall of the IMEP, offering a high-quality acoustic and visual setting.
At just 15 years old, Ygor demonstrates inspiring audacity by participating in a competition of this magnitude. His commitment and the quality of his work are already a victory in themselves. Public examination at the IMEP
In January, he will present his mid-year work during his public percussion exam.
This performance will allow him to showcase the evolution of his playing: rhythmic precision, instrumental mastery, and musical sensitivity. Guided by his teachers, he will approach this stage with seriousness and commitment. A great opportunity to assess his progress and prepare for his end-of-year goals.

Ygor will perform a solo part at the Nivelles Musical Corps gala concert.
At the Nivellois Musical Corps gala concert, which this year highlights young talents, Ygor will perform a solo part and will interpret, on the vibraphone, a work by the composer Nathan Dautrhey.
